Kuroki Honten's signature barley shochu is made from 2-row barley grown in Kyushu. The mother liquor is made in a traditional kame (earthenware vessel), and the brewing is done in wooden vats. It is light and easy to drink, with a gentle taste and the aroma of roasted barley and a deep, rich flavor.
